God Wants Me to See My Enemies Scatter

Deuteronomy 28:7 says:

The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

Many times, when life gets hard, we lose sight of the fact that God always causes us to win. It doesn’t matter how many enemies decide to raise up their ugly heads, we always come out on top.

Truth is, God could take care of our enemies before they even have the opportunity to bother us. But, if He did that every time, we would miss out on the faith experience. When our enemies rise up, it causes us to reach out to God in prayer and forces us to stand on his Word and believe for victory. And, as we exercise our faith, God smites our enemies “before thy face.”

Be encouraged.

God allows the enemies to rise up, just so you can see Him tear them down! When God is finished, your enemies won’t even be able to collaborate any longer. They’ll come against you one way and leave seven different ways simply because they want to get away from you as fast as they can!

Be blessed,

Mike
